Message One, are the arms being installed correctly? Incorrect install will cause them to fail sooner because they are being forced into a position they were never meant to be in.

Two, are the arms being overextended to compensate for travel? This is where the extended center section comes into play.

Assuming there is a proper amount of thread still in the sleeve, there shouldn't really be any reason for them to bend or break.
